The objective of this post is to explore the for now theoretical relationship and differences between evolutionary life as a whole and its artificial equivalent while also exploring some additional stuff related to the topics. We will try to set up thought experiments built on a projection of the world where Artificial Superintelligence (ASI) agents came into existence. From that premise, We will try to draw some philosophical questions and conclusions about this hypothetical future....
While these ideas are not necessarily an exact forecast of things to come, I tried to build them as an exercise on top of my current working model of the world, any correction or addition would deepen my understanding and I would be more than thankful to get this kind of feedback. Dear reader, Some time ago, we were asked to visit a school and talk about career paths with the students. We decided to talk more about the options and paths that the students have and less about our agendas and products to give the students as much valuable intel as we can. Just a thought. A few weeks ago, I wrote my first short sci-fi story and added a subtle seed of an inception-style idea to it as the center point. The main point of publishing the story was to output some of the recurring thoughts and “Just get over with it” so I could move on, but I was too subtle, or I am now too impatient. Several times, I have been asked for a sequel, but no one came back commenting on the story’s implications, so now let’s discuss the topic more directly....
